The MacGillycuddy Reeks Mountain Access Forum welcome you to our website. We were established in May 2014 to protect, manage and sustainably develop this unique mountain range. The Forum’s Vision is to facilitate the growing number of visitors to this wonderful place, while at the same time minimising the environmental impact on the ground-which will be challenging - we will need your help...

Most people don’t realise that the MacGillycuddy Reeks are privately owned land, which is actively farmed, so please bear this in mind when planning your trip.

We also hope to create opportunities for the local communities surrounding the Reeks, as well as carrying out repair works in the Reeks.

Please contact us if you require any information.

Dogs

Dogs are not permitted on lands entering from Cronin's Yard, Breanlee or Lisiebane this is due the high number of livestock that are present.

Thank you
